I love the large size of the tiles for little kids to move around. There is one pro & con on the outermost circle of tiles:
1. Pros: Very useful for young kids to manipulate the tiles around the square to get the tile to where they need to.
2. Cons: It takes a bit for the kid to realize the actual puzzle starts in the second row, second column. Have to close the lid, explain their target 9 squares.
But, once the kids understand that, its great. Kid loves it. Will use it in travel - light & tiles wont fall off. Very good for exercising the little brains and adult brains!
So far looks good in durability. Have played only a few times. So, giving it four stars.Get more detail about Mindware Square Up.
