ChesseX offers eleven (11) different colors of 7-die Polyhedral sets, one of the best selections of gamer dice offered and excellent for each player to have their own distinctive set. I prefer the green, but have a blue set as well. But with so many choices it is easy to pick your favorite or an easy compromise.

I prefer the translucent to solid color die mainly because there is something bout the slightly luminous background of the translucent plastic that sets off the black numbers better, making them easier to read and providing a more pleasant gaming experience.

Accuracy on random number generation is important. I got my undergraduate statistics students to test the ChesseX die with 1,000 throws, and the quality report came back: EXCELLENT. These are die that throw random numbers from their possibility set.

The slightly rounded edges make for clean throws and firm resting stops, although the inherent composition of the plastic makes them bounce pretty easily off a Formica table. These die work better on cloth surfaces.

I bought the weather resistant bags from these guys two years ago before they got on Amazon. Met them in person and they were extremely nice (I showed up 5 min before close and they still did everything for me). I still use these bags all the time and they are great. Let's be honest, it doesn't matter how careful or loyal you are to your bags and board, you're gonna leave 'em out a few times and that's when these are the best to have. Great weight, not too full and no saggy bags either. The stitching is strong and the material even stronger.

Great product. Buying more of them today for my parent's place.

Hasbro Games Trivial Pursuit Family Edition This instant

If you love spending quality with your family as much as I do, you will love this game and this version. It comes with kids cards and adult cards. You also learn new things as you play which is fun and interesting and secretly educational so the kids don't really think of it as learning, it is more fun. The only thing that I didn't really like about it is that there weren't very many cards, so we went through them quickly and found ourselves back to the questions we had been asked earlier, nice thing is we knew the answers then and we could actually get pie pieces hehe. Overall a great family game and I still recommend it and also recommend maybe getting some other extra card sets to add in with the board to make it more interesting and endless learning. I think going over the same cards would get pretty boring after playing it through once. Ravensburger Enchanted Forest - Family Game Right now

I remember playing this as a child back in 1986. When I saw it was still being sold, we purchased a copy to play with our kids. The game has thirteen trees with fairy tale treasures (i.e. cinderella's glass slipper, rapunzel's tower, and the golden ball from the frog prince) underneath that match 13 playing cards that are kept in the castle. Players move around the board looking under trees for the treasure that matches the displayed card, then race to the castle. The first player that makes it to the castle and correctly remembers where the corresponding treasure is gets to keep the card. First player with three cards wins. An average game with 3 players takes about 45 minutes to play.

Our kids (now 7 1/2 and 5) just now have the attention span to sit through an entire game. Usually we would play for 30 minutes and then just put the game away. Some other reviewers have suggested some helpful modified rules to move along the gameplay and keep everyone engaged.

The version we purchased included some more obscure fairy tales (maybe more common in Europe)? Also, the pawns were painted wood while the trees are molded plastic. The quality of all of the pieces is high and the gameboard is durable. As a parent, I like this game because it encourages memorization and evaluating alternate moves.
