My wife and I bought this game before we went on vacation at the recommendation of a few friends who are Settlers of Catan board game nuts. We both tried to play the board game with only 2 players and it wasn't much fun, so we decided to try the card game. We were not disappointed. It is the perfect game for 2 players (you can't play with more anyway), and it doesn't drag out for hours upon hours like some Settlers games can take. On our vacation, my wife and I would play every day while our daughters would nap.
