As avid boardgamer parents, my daughter was turning 3 and I wanted to get some games to start playing with her. Candyland is a classic for a reason. There are a few things I have found that are a little difficult for her. She had trouble with the special cards that move you forward or backward to the special character squares, so I just pulled them out of the deck for now. She has trouble figuring out which way is forward because the path squiggles around the board so much. Overall my daughter really enjoys this game and it's a tolerable game for parents.
