I like it that they are white and black because it is easier to see than red and black checkers. I bought the "Blongo Family Fun BB-2RE BlongoBall Accessory Pack (Red)" expecting to receive a set of the hard/golf balls like the ones that came with the original Blongoball set. This set is soft/indoor balls which is frustrating since nothing in the Amazon description indicates that these balls are soft. We decided to keep them instead of going through the hassle of a return. They seem to work OK.

We got the larger version of this game for Christmas and I bought this one as well. My 5 year old likes all the shapes, but the larger version is a little daunting. The smaller one is just right.
