KEM Pantheon Poker Size Jumbo Index Playing Cards Order Now

We had used Kem's for years in my poker club and they were great! We were very happy with the quality etc.. About 1.5 years ago we ordered new cards and half of the decks we received were defective. The quality just isn't there anymore. What was also interesting was that the blue decks slid will face down but not face up, and the red decks slid well face up but not face down. This was only an issue if we played on a solid surface, not on felt. The cards are washable, and you never had to worry about them getting dirty....but again, after about 9 months of use (with the cards that were not defective), some of the ink started comming off. Granted, we play a lot more than the average person, but still, they used to last a LONG time. We have no switched (grudgingly) to Copags, and are very happy. They even have a better feel, and you can find them for less money....and, the box stays closed. Also, trying to reach someone at Kem was tough. We were told to return the defective cards plus the ace of spades from those decks and we would receive new decks....we never received anything! 4 decks down the drain. I would have given 3 stars if not for that.Get more detail about KEM Pantheon Poker Size Jumbo Index Playing Cards.

Polyhedral 7-Die Translucent Dice Set - Smoke with Red Right now

The following review will be the same for all the differing colors of ChesseX Polyhedral 7-Die Translucent Dice Set.

ChesseX offers eleven (11) different colors of 7-die Polyhedral sets, one of the best selections of gamer dice offered and excellent for each player to have their own distinctive set. I prefer the green, but have a blue set as well. But with so many choices it is easy to pick your favorite or an easy compromise.

I prefer the translucent to solid color die mainly because there is something bout the slightly luminous background of the translucent plastic that sets off the black numbers better, making them easier to read and providing a more pleasant gaming experience.

Accuracy on random number generation is important. I got my undergraduate statistics students to test the ChesseX die with 1,000 throws, and the quality report came back: EXCELLENT. These are die that throw random numbers from their possibility set.

The slightly rounded edges make for clean throws and firm resting stops, although the inherent composition of the plastic makes them bounce pretty easily off a Formica table. These die work better on cloth surfaces.

Lowest Price Axis and Allies: Pacific 1940

In a nutshell, this is Axis & Allies in the Pacific.
The set up time is much longer, with many more units.
The Japanese player has an advantage, only for a short while till America's productuin soars ahead.

But here's a house rule that works. A 'what if' the Japanese only attack British and it's Allies, for the first 3 turns. Not the USA.
Normally, the rules for a first suprise attack is 'defend with a 1'. However, this only applies the the British and it's allies, (Australia, India, China, NZ)
In turn 2, if USA is attacked, 'defend with a 2'. If the Japanese wait till the 3rd turn to attack the USA, they 'defend with a 3'.(defend 3 or less, depending on the defensive unit, then regular battle chart starting turn 4)

And if you want a 'MONSTER game, put the A&A Europe next to A&A Pacific, with a few house rules, you will have a long game.
